SANITATION (WORLD CLEAN UP DAY)

Under the Environmental Safeguard component of this initiative, we commemorate the World Clean Up Day. This was done in partnership with Eco Clean Active Initiative on the 16th of September, 2023. We located a site within an area of residence, where refuse were dumped wrongly, we then mobilized our staff, volunteers and members of the community to clean up the site and sensitize them on the harm it has on heir health and environment. The feedbacks received from the people were inspiring and we linked the community leaders with the contacts of staff of the waste evacuation unit of the Government Agency involved. This is to sustain the process of waste collection in the area and ensure a clean, safe and hygienic neighborhood.
